Tonight I have YummySnack Bars to review for you from YummyHealth. The company can be found by visiting YummyHealth.com .
YummyHealth has 6 different kinds of YummySnack bars. I was lucky enough to receive a sample of each one! (For those that like chips, they have those too!)
Here is what I received:
1. Cookie Dough 4. Coconut
2. Brownie 5. Peanut Butter
3. Chocolate 6. Peppermint
Along with the snack bars, I received an information sheet that had a front and back side of facts about their products:
The front side compared the snack bars to leading candy bars and showed how the YummySnacks were a healthier option. Here's how they rated:

The back of the information sheet listed the ingredients and nutrition facts for each bar:
YummySnack bars use natural ingredients with real nutrients, like cocoa, coconut, almond butter, and flax seed. They do not have gluten, hydrogenated oils, trans fats, high fructose corn syrup, artificial colors, artificial flavors or preservatives.
Now that you have the facts about YummySnack bars, let's get down to the taste review.
1. Cookie Dough - The taste definitely reminded me of a cookie dough product. The middle of the bar had the dough appearance with bits of cookies mixed in, with the right coloring to match the dough. I enjoyed this bar quite a bit.
2. Brownie - This bar had the appearance and texture of a brownie bar (based on the middle filling). The taste was a bit bland (not really any flavor for a brownie). My least favorite of the 6 bars.
3. Chocolate - This bar definitely had the look and texture of a chocolate bar. The bar was completely in a chocolate color. The inside filling was a slight different color than the milk chocolate coating. The taste was a nice solid chocolate flavor.
4. Coconut - The bar had the look and texture (inside) of a normal coconut bar. The taste rivaled that of the Mounds competitor it is matched up against in the information sheet. The coconut was moist and not dry or stale tasting in any way. I greatly enjoyed this bar!
5. Peanut Butter - This bar was great on PB flavor! The texture was soft and the bar did not stick to your mouth as some peanut butter products do. The inside had the peanut butter color you would expect to find in such a product.
6. Peppermint - This bar reminded me almost exactly of the York Peppermint patty (which it is compared to in the information sheet). The peppermint flavor was very refreshing, like an after dinner mint. I was not really looking forward to this bar, as I'm not that into peppermint flavored items, but I was pleasantly surprised. I was expecting a "cheap" peppermint flavor, something like the hard candy mints or candy cane type product - but definitely not the case here. The bar that I had apprehensions about turned out to be delicious!
With the exception of the brownie bar, which I thought had very little flavor - all of the rest of the bars were delicious! I love the fact that they are a healthier choice compared to nationally known brands with very similar flavors.
I would like to thank Eric & YummyHealth for their time and generosity in sending me these samples to review.
YummyHealth did not pay me to write this review. They did send me free products to sample and review. This review is in no way biased, and all of the statements are 100% my own.
