3M Mouse Pad w/Gel Wrist Rest (Model MW85B)

Hello Everyone,

Tonight I have a review on 3M's Mouse Pad w/Gel Wrist Rest (Model MW85B)

I was excited to receive the 3M Mouse Pad w/Gel Wrist Rest, as I have always had quality products from 3M. Unfortunately, I was left dissatisfied with this product, for the most part. On the box, it states that the mouse pad has a battery saving design - but I have not seen any results that either confirm or deny this claim. In regards to the gel technology for the wrist pad, the product states: "Firm enough to provide the support you need, yet soft enough for optimal comfort." Unfortunately, I have to disagree with the second part of the statement. My wrist was not very comfortable when using the product, and I do not feel that the gel is soft enough to provide comfort. To be fair and honest, I do have that start of Carpal Tunnel in my wrists, as well as arthritis - so I'm not sure to what extent each of these factors weighs in on my comfort level. My other point of dissatisfaction was the length of the pad itself. I feel that 3M could have made the pad a little bit longer, as depending on where you place your wrist on the gel pad and how big your hand is, you quickly run out of room at the top of the pad. I did not have any problems with the width of the pad. On a positive note, the surface of the pad is made very well, and the mouse tracks/glides with ease. Overall, the pad is visually appealing. It also has a nice weight to it, to where it is not flimsy/doesn't wobble like most mouse pads do. Due to the pros and cons that I experienced, I rated this product 3/5 stars. I do like that the product is made from a well known brand, but I feel that they could have made the pad longer and the gel wrist area more comfortable.

I received this product in exchange for my honest and unbiased review.
