US Art Supply 50 Piece Artist Grade Colored Pencils are good for people young to young at heart, and beginner to professional. They can be used for many different textures: soft, bold, delicate, and crisp. The set comes in a convenient plastic case that has a carrying handle. These colored pencils are wax based and give off a "creamy" consistency. They do not flake, chip, shatter, or shave off from the pencil. The length of the pencil is colored to match the tip, making color recognition fast and easy. These pencils are made in Taiwan and packaged in China. They do not have any names representing the colors (such as sky blue, fire engine red, etc.). This is a great set for children or adults who like to color as a hobby. This set gives you great color variety (as a lot of sets only offer 24 or 36 colors) and the colors are vibrant and vivid. I will be sending these pencils to a friend of mine, so her two sons can enjoy them!
